Born in the cathedral city of Salisbury, England, and raised and educated in suburban London,
Sahira Jamila Sear is a Muslim revert who married a Pakistani Muslim and spent most of her
life in Pakistan working for several years as a writer-cum-editor of children’s books for the
prestigious publishers, Ferozsons Pvt Ltd. During her retirement in the UK, she continued
writing religious, moral, and other stories for children. Currently living in Pakistan, she is
committed to completing the prolific list of titles in her publishing portfolio.
